During these cold winter days, not only glühwein is popular, liters of hot cocoa are also consumed. Delicious and warming, because you can never go wrong with chocolate. :-p It’s Christmas, so I’ve conjured up this decadent Oreo-coconut-cocoa. Without a milk foamer, we’ll use an immersion blender to fluff the cocoa!
This sublime cocoa has a secret ingredient! No, it’s not the coconut milk, the chocolate or the Oreos, but a pinch of salt! That single pinch elevates this cocoa to a level of pure bliss! And to answer any possible questions:
Delicious? Oh heck yea!

Caroline loved the cocoa, but it was too rich for her taste. A smaller portion would have suited her better.
Kim made this cocoa for her eldest son. He didn’t mind being a guinea pig, because he loves cocoa and Oreos! 🙂 He’s not very fond of coconut milk, but Kim didn’t tell him it was in there and he didn’t even notice! She did have some trouble getting it airy, but she blames it on her blender. This cocoa has been wholeheartedly approved!
