You’re well aware that I love eggs. What the chef likes, the chef cooks. So here’s ANOTHER egg recipe, called eggs in pots. Cream, cheese and eggs, a very French recipe and therefore likely to be delicious. This French classic is usually served for breakfast because it’s to be spooned and also dippable with bread soldiers. But if you ask me it’s a perfect dinner as well, or #brinner (breakfast for dinner) as it’s called these days. Eggs in pots are incredibly easy to make and perfect for singles! But kids love them too!
A couple weeks ago we invited our neighbours over for brunch. Their kids said they loved to cook, so we invited them an hour early to help out. Besides homemade pastries, they whipped up these eggs in pots and they were a huge success with the parents. A few days later I ran into the mum and she told me that the kids made the recipe again at home and that it was so good they each had two pots!
So here’s a recipe for 2 eggs in pots, perfect for one or two helpings ;-).

Carine was sold. She’ll be making it again, for sure. Next time she’ll try mushrooms!
Stijn didn’t have little pots so he used a single bowl. Worked perfectly!
Eveline used ham and fresh parsley. A great combo! 😉
