*You can’t compare Flammkuchen dough to readymade pizza dough because it’s much thinner. If you can’t find Flammkuchen dough, go for puff pastry dough. They’re of course very different, but they have the same baking time and it’ll taste awesome as well.
Tip: Like cheese? Add some grated cheese on top or use hearty gorgonzola!
Tip: More veggies? Mushrooms or leek work great on Flammkuchen. Fry them briefly in a pan until al dente, spread them on top of the Flammkuchen and then bake it for 15 minutes in the oven.
About the servings: Normally 1 Flammkuchen dough serves 2 persons, with a side salad. But big eaters, like my better half, can manage an entire dough by themselves! 😉
