Golden curcuma syrup

Singlemade: Golden curcuma syrup

Curcuma is a miracle spice. It’s anti-inflammatory, it detoxes and it helps your digestive tract. It’s good for your heart, liver, brains, in short, your entire body! No wonder golden milk was and is one of the most popular drinks in recent memory.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, golden milk is literally golden milk. The curcuma makes it yellow and all the ingredients work together to give you a health boost. In general, golden milk is made from milk, pimped with ginger, curcuma, pepper and cinnamon.

There are a lot of recipes going around for golden milk and golden paste that you can dissolve in hot milk. But, seeing as it’s such a miracle cure, why limit yourself to milk? I’ve developed a golden syrup. You can mix it with virtually any liquid, hot or cold. My personal favorite: golden champagne! 😉

In the fridge, the syrup will keep for a couple of weeks.

Tip: if you used powdered curcuma, it might settle in the syrup. Stir the syrup before using it.
