For a while now I’ve been known among family and friends for my ‘Minnemade’ granola. I’ve spent a long time finetuning the recipe and it’s been worked out to within grams and minutes. But the recipe has a lot of ingredients and takes a lot of work, so it isn’t single-proof.
A poll on Instagram showed that there’s a lot of interest for a granola recipe, so I devised a new, simple recipe. A basic granola that’s delicious by itself, but that you can add to as you please!
And don’t believe that granola’s just for breakfast! It gives a lovely crunch to salads and it’s great on (n)ice cream! You can use it in a smoothie or as a topping! Go nuts! 🙂

Kim’s a fan because it’s a great basic recipe that she can pimp as she likes. And pimp it she did: she added 2 tablespoons of linseeds, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds and 2 tablespoons of mixed seeds. Finally, she added some grated coconut (see the tips).
Kim’s tip : use coconut oil with a third of roasted sesame oil, it adds to the flavour!
Caroline was impressed with the granola as well, especially with the effect of adding a pinch of salt. Caroline’s tip: reduce the oil and honey by adding a little water!
